Whether your college, university, or organization prefers NACE career competencies, essential skills, or another term, all recognize that a set of tangible skills are important to a new graduate’s successful transition into the workforce.
The Annual MACIC Celebrate Internships event will recognize employers offering outstanding internship programs that build up students’ career competencies/essential skills. Following this awards ceremony, a panel of student interns will articulate how they demonstrated career competencies/essential skills in their most recent internship experience. This panel will dive into skills such as critical thinking/problem solving, communication, collaboration, leadership, digital technology use, career management, and intercultural fluency.
