DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce that the 16th Annual MACIC Celebrate Internships event will occur virtually this year on Friday\, May 7 from 8:30-10:30 a.m.! \nAbout this Event\n\n\nPlease indicate your interest in attending this virtual event by completing this quick SURVEY. Your response to the survey will be used to send along the virtual meeting invitation NOT the register button on Eventbrite. \nTopic: Highlighting Career Competencies/Essential Skills Through Internship  \nWhether your college\, university\, or organization prefers NACE career competencies\, essential skills\, or another term\, all recognize that a set of tangible skills are important to a new graduate’s successful transition into the workforce. \nThe Annual MACIC Celebrate Internships event will recognize employers offering outstanding internship programs that build up students’ career competencies/essential skills. Following this awards ceremony\, a panel of student interns will articulate how they demonstrated career competencies/essential skills in their most recent internship experience. This panel will dive into skills such as critical thinking/problem solving\, communication\, collaboration\, leadership\, digital technology use\, career management\, and intercultural fluency. \nThis is your chance to gain valuable insights\, ask questions\, and connect!
