Beyond the MACIC website, you now have a couple of new ways to connect with the organization online.
First, connect with MACIC on LinkedIn. Up until this time, our LinkedIn group was for organization members only. Since this limits the power of our LinkedIn presence, it was determined at the February 11th Business Meeting to switch it to an open group. Now, members, non-members, and employers alike can share news and discuss internship issues through this forum. Join today!
MACIC has also joined the Twitterverse! With so many organizations active on Twitter, this opens a new avenue for MACIC to connect with local employers and with internship resources that would be useful to the students members work with. You can find and follow MACIC at twitter.com/MACIC_WI.
Finally, don’t forget that you can subscribe to the MACIC website’s news feed via email or feed reader (ex. Google Reader). Both subscription links can be found on MACIC.org along the right-hand column of the site.
