The Milwaukee Area College Internship Consortium is pleased to announce its new award for Outstanding Employer Internship Programs!
The Milwaukee Area College Internship Consortium (MACIC) was established to foster collegiality and to support professionals, who work with internships in Wisconsin’s public, private, and technical colleges and universities, through educational forums and networking opportunities.
In an effort to honor employers and partners from business, industry, government and nonprofits, who have distinguished themselves by developing quality internship programs within their organizations that incorporate internship best practices, MACIC has developed the following awards:.

• Outstanding Internship Program: Large Employers
• Outstanding Internship Program: Small Employers (fewer than 100 employees)
• Outstanding Internship Program: Nonprofit/Public Sector

Every member institution is encouraged to submit at least one nomination in this inaugural award year. Nomination materials can be found on the Members-Only Awards page.
Nomination materials should be submitted to MACIC by April 13, 2011. Winners will be announced at the 2011 MACIC Celebrating Internships Employer Appreciation Social on June 15, 2011.
