DESCRIPTION:The Milwaukee Area College Internship Consortium (MACIC) was established in 2000 to prevent brain drain in Wisconsin…and educates employers on internship best practices and encourages the development and expansion of good internship opportunities for students\, creating a strong and diverse talent pipeline to foster a vibrant economy in Wisconsin. \nAs we evolve and expand\, we continue to serve that mission\, meeting the needs of our members…fostering collegiality and supporting professionals who work with internships in Wisconsin’s public\, private\, and technical colleges and universities\, through educational forums and networking opportunities. \nIf this sounds like something you would like to be a part of\, we invite you to join our efforts…Please join us on Thursday\, August 4 from 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Gateway Technical College iMet Center to discuss MACIC’s Future & Focus.
